You gotta love Apple for the way they make shitty hardware for the end user and then make probably just as much or more on having parts replaced. Maybe that's the only reason their heads are still above water.... I wonder....

Apple's policies are usually pretty good for hardware issues especially if it's a component failure or while the product is under warranty. We've had Apple computers since the days of the blue G3s, including a 3rd generation iMac, a Cube, a new LCD iMac, an eMac, several power books, an iBook and a G4 and a G5. We've never had any hardware issues other than my powerbook and I believe that was from being dropped several times.
Did you have an especially bad experience or are you just speculating?
