Jun. 18th, 2002 06:56 pmmost of my life, strangers have expressed interest or disbelief when presented with my given name. it's never been a big deal for me as it's not exceptionally common in english-speaking countries in this day and age.
i do wonder, however, at the apparent lack of curiousity expressed by my fellow goths and pagans. i find myself wondering if they are so accustomed to affectation that they'd act just as non-plussed if i gave my name as Lady Ravenbutt.
