I really wish I could enjoy my deck during the summer. I just went out to sweep away storm debris and within a minute had enough mosquito bites to trigger hives. There just aren't enough bats and ladybugs to eat them all. And the Asian Tiger Mosquito is my own personal nemesis. I'd like to enjoy my yard. I'd like to sit outside and enjoy a glass of iced tea.

The next time we get a rainstorm, I'm going out and taking care of the deck. It will be swept and scrubbed. There will be *no* more flowerpots out there. I like having plants, but I'll bring them back inside. I'll just have to get plant lights again.

can you use the Burt's Bees sketter repellent? girly's skin is very sensitive, but she can use Burt's and it's been really effective (when we remember to use it!)

Nope, lemongrass and citronella give me migraines, especially on my skin. And BB uses soy *or* wheat germ oil for their Vitamin E . . . . neither of which are jos-friendly.
