rootofnewtlong, hot showers are good. running out of hot water in less than *ten* minutes is not.
i can take a quick shower. i can be sudsed, shampooed, conditioned, and rinsed in less than five minutes. today was supposed to be a 15-20 minute luxury where i was letting my head and shoulders decompress and drain and relax.
and we haven't used any hot water in the last several hours... no dishwashing, no laundry, a bit of hand-washing, i suppose.
it helped a little. more heat would've been nice.

Date: 2003-12-10 01:25 pm (UTC)i irrigated my sinuses and relaxed, then realized it was getting cold. less than two songs had played, one was long, but one was short... definitely less than ten minutes.
so i had to shampoo/rinse in tepid-to-cold water, then turned off the water while i conditioned my hair and sudsed up, at which point i turned it back on and rinsed everything out (including my long-ass hair) in cold water.
