long, hot showers are good. running out of hot water in less than *ten* minutes is not.

i can take a quick shower. i can be sudsed, shampooed, conditioned, and rinsed in less than five minutes. today was supposed to be a 15-20 minute luxury where i was letting my head and shoulders decompress and drain and relax.

and we haven't used any hot water in the last several hours... no dishwashing, no laundry, a bit of hand-washing, i suppose.

it helped a little. more heat would've been nice.

Well, on the bright side, at least you sudsed, scrubbed, and rinsed in the first part of your shower. When I take long marathon-showers, it takes me a few minutes to get to that point. (few minutes roughly translates into 'staring at the falling water as it bounces off me into the shower wall for about 10 minutes')

My hot water has gotten a lot more scarce as the winter has progressed. I might have to looking at adjusting the temperature of my hot water heater up a few degrees.

no, i didn't.

i irrigated my sinuses and relaxed, then realized it was getting cold. less than two songs had played, one was long, but one was short... definitely less than ten minutes.

so i had to shampoo/rinse in tepid-to-cold water, then turned off the water while i conditioned my hair and sudsed up, at which point i turned it back on and rinsed everything out (including my long-ass hair) in cold water.
