inflamed rib cartilage isn't terribly serious, it's just damn painful. i can safely do things, but at what cost to my emotional well-being?
i desperately want to see Hoven Droven. i love nordic music. i think this will have to fall by the wayside, though. there's a live webcast, which we can always watch.
the diclofenac the doctor gave me isn't helping much, either. riding in the car for an hour and a half,jumping on the metro, and walking to the kennedy center would likely make me rather uncomfortable.

maybe i should think about going up in *two* weeks for Old Blind Dogs... Scottish ceilidh music. i might be feeling better, so i wouldn't need to rely on boy for a ride, but could just come up to DC for the day, see a couple exhibits, see the band, have dinner, etc. Anyone up for that?
