Sep. 14th, 2004 06:11 pmI think that after boy eats and after I shower, we're going to go for a walk somewhere so that he can do reading for class. He told me coffee or another beverage can be acquired, even though our budget is extremely tight right now.
I should probably get out of the house and actually stretch a bit. It would be good for me.
I'll take a book. I'm reading MiƩville's The Iron Council right now. I've just been reading it at night.
Now that the students are back, Starbucks is loud and busy again. Is there another coffee type spot that would be *quieter* in the evenings? Mudhouse doesn't qualify--plus their chocolate syrup tastes horrid.
Actually sound isn't so much the issue . . . it's the general feel. It can be loud, so long as it's cozy and I can feel removed from a lot of activity. I don't want the tea house tonight--incense is annoying.
