Just another Thursday night
Sep. 17th, 2004 01:03 amWanting to get out of the house, combined with wanting to go for a drive and having no plans, we went to the evil empire in *Staunton* in search of HanesHerWay lifestyletee shirts. It didn't occur to me that tshirts might be a seasonal item. o_O
Anyhow,
redzshadow went with us, which was nice. It's always good to chat with her. We wandered around the monstrous store. I didn't find the tshirt I wanted, but I did find a nice dark grey long-sleeve tshirt and a ghostbusters 3/4 sleeve tshirt. Also picked up some fabric (shiny blue!) for making a skirt and grabbed some bias tape and ricrac for modding my ego likeness shirt. Grabbed a shower curtain and some rubber-free underwear (glow in the dark halloween undies) and some naproxen. May as well make a drive like that count, eh?
Anyhow, I enjoyed speeding along the dark highway tonight. Good chat, little traffic.
Now, I need to go soak the clothes in dry milk. Staunton's walmart is less stinky than Cville's, but I can still detect the stench of evil.
And I am SO upset that I had no camera. For my parents' information, there were about eight rigs in the lot, including at least two FANCY diesel pushers. Their paint jobs looked custom. At least one of them had jacks down. Most of the rigs were class A motorhomes (maybe a class C, too, can't remember), there was one Class B and at least one fifth wheel. The class B and motorhomes nearly all had toads (one had a boat, no toad). Seriously, it looked like a mini-rally.
