Hrm. Supposed to pick up an [livejournal.com profile] orientallilly, but one cannot be found at her place of residence. If anyone has an [livejournal.com profile] orientallilly, please call me so that I can fetch her!
Question to those who wear prescription sunglasses...

I've never worn prescription sunglasses. I normally wear contacts (with non 'script sunglasses) and have done so for nearly 15 years. This is my first pair of prescription sunglasses. The lenses are polarized and decently dark.

I feel like I'm seeing in 2-D--my depth perception is off. I can't figure out if this is something I just need to get used to or if I should have the glasses checked to ensure they're the proper prescription. My normal eyeglasses are fine--no depth perception problems. They are a *slightly* weaker prescription, but not by much. And my sunglasses are the same 'script as my contacts now, I believe. I should doublecheck. (Sometimes I have a stronger prescription for eyeglasses because I tend to wear them at night or when my eyes aren't focusing well due to CFIDS-related fatigue).

Anyhow, the 2-D thing is weird. I think I started to adjust, but I switched to my contacts, anyhow. I wanted my peripheral vision back.

oh yeah?

I hear [livejournal.com profile] explodingcat has more evidence of my nefarious cat druggery.

I'll believe it when I see it.

dropped the car off at finley's. hope it's just a hose and not the motor/pump for the windshield wiper fluid.

[livejournal.com profile] nothingoth brought me home, where we fed him baignan bharta (Tasty Bite), himalayan red rice, and tarkha dal (homemade). we all went out to Music & Arts and Radio Shack in search of a midi coupler (thank you, Radio Shack, even if it took me--not a staff person--to find it). he brought us home and we've relaxed, watched stargate sg-1's version of Solyaris, and now i think i'll watch Code Name: Eternity while i make more marble magnets. maybe. perhaps we'll watch Angel, instead.
holy crap. this show is completely filled with people who attended the William Shatner School of "Acting".

i might keep watching it, the way one watches a tire fire.

I haven't used fenugreek in several months.

So. I'd like to see your favorite vegetarian recipes which use fenugreek.

By vegetarian, I mean no animal flesh, no gelatin, no animal broths, etc.

I'm allergic to soy, peanut, papaya, and moldy cheeses (penicillium molds: camemberti and roqueforti).

I can substitute for soy sauce and peanut butter. I can substitute for shredded chicken in small amounts (chicken-style wheat gluten). I can use shortening made from palm oil, veg broth, and vegetarian gelatin substitutes.

Challenging enough?
crap. i need to get to kinko's. i forgot that i'd have no car tonight at all. crap crap crap.
