I'm not sure it's a waste of time. The camaraderie and warm fuzzy vibes are pretty darn nice. And in a place like central VA, it helps folks know that they aren't alone.

Sure, I spent money to make signs, but that's okay. It gave me an excuse to make the signs to keep on hand, right? I mean, you never know when you'll need to attend another protest/picket line/dog show.
