WBC are often no-shows. Sometimes I suspect they announce demonstrations they have no intention of attending just to force their opponents into wasting time and resources.

I'm not sure it's a waste of time. The camaraderie and warm fuzzy vibes are pretty darn nice. And in a place like central VA, it helps folks know that they aren't alone.

Sure, I spent money to make signs, but that's okay. It gave me an excuse to make the signs to keep on hand, right? I mean, you never know when you'll need to attend another protest/picket line/dog show.

It's a parody of a well known hate site that I won't link because I don't want to give them hits. Replace shrimp with a derogatory term for gay men and you'll have it.

If one is going to quote Biblical passages as a basis for judgment and protest, one had best take ALL of the Bibilical passages regarding lifestyle into play. So if you quote from Leviticus, you darn tootin' better take kashrut to heart, among other directives.
