Today, my parents are bringing the Scottish Terrors in so Bailey can run around the yard and so that Neal can trip and roll down our hill. Then, we're going to Dirty Dogs dog wash and I might just help Mom bathe her two dogs. They need a washing and a grooming.
Jericho seems to have recovered from his dental cleaning procedure. I'll take him to the dog park later to run run RUN! Tomorrow, he gets his bath.
My parents leave tomorrow. I'll be sad to see them go. I enjoy having them around, but I know they're itching to move on.

Chili Recipe
Date: 2005-10-13 04:41 pm (UTC)olive oil, onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, red pepper flakes, black pepper, chili powder, tomato paste, carrots, green pepper, celery, canned tomatoes, tomato juice, kidney beans, balsamic vinegar, and salt.
Normally I add bulgar wheat...obviously that's being omitted. Does everything else work? Also (this might sound silly) does it matter if a plastic spoon is used to stir it all? I know you're super-sensitive to latex and such, but I was uncertain if plastics had any effects on you.

Re: Chili Recipe
Date: 2005-10-13 08:52 pm (UTC)I don't like non-stick cookware...somehow the idea of small flecks of heavy metal getting into everything I cook doesn't appeal to me. I'm strictly cast iron and stainless steel. At least with the cast iron, the metal isn't poisonous.
