It's generally a good idea to drill a 3/8" hole when one is needed. It's generally not a good idea to grab a large bit, assume it's 3/8" and then later attempt to put a 3/16" molly/screw in a 5/16" hole.
In other news, I have another hole to spackle in the kitchen.
In other--better--news, I realized my mistake and drilled the other holes properly.
I now have more rails and racks in the kitchen. I've almost unpacked all the spices.
I need to figure out where the studs are in the living/dining room so I can hang the wine/glass rack.
Fear my drill.
I need an artgum eraser to remove some pencil marks, too.
