rootofnewtYeah, so I use iChat (for an AIM client). And I have an iSight. I'm pretty sure I can do one-way webcam chats with this, if I so desire. Wanna watch boy play the piano? Drop me a line. My iChat/AIM screen name is krasota_@mac.com --the email addy is not active. I don't know how other clients work, but if you see a camera next to my iChat nick in iChat, it means I have a camera available.
Edit: This will only work with folks who also have an iSight set-up, it appears. Audio chats, however, are an option.
Live broadcasting via a stream is pricey at the moment. I can always take quicktime vids.
I'll try to remember to add a note when I'm on iChat and boy is playing piano, though the concept of setting up the iSight as a motion detector camera is tempting, I need my precious ibook at my side.
