explodingcat is making a presentation via teleconference. It's so weird to hear his "business" voice going on and on and on, with pauses for questions. He's so authoritative and clear and concise. *giggle*
The only time I hear his voice this much is when he's singing about how he's only got icicles for legs and the polar bears are going to roast me on a spit.
OMG...heheh, so I'm not a goober for having a special "business voice" (I tend to call mine the "radio voice"). The best part about teleconference is the opportunity to have a serious business meeting in your underpants!! ;P
Oh, not at all. :) For me, it's the same voice but the presentation is slightly different. A friend of mine who hadn't seen me do it before watched me morph from Social Mode into Work Mode while at a party (her office holiday party; I can geek with some of her coworkers) and the difference is apparently quite pronounced.
We always sit downstairs and laugh at Chris when he's on a teleconference. My mom swears it's the only time she can actually hear him and understand what he's saying and he's not even in the room. He often mumbles otherwise.
