when the computer toolkit failed me, i turned to my trusty 1.5" upholstery (semi-circular) needle and a length of thread.

and managed to repair the awry-ness i inflicted on my gizmo furby a few minutes earlier.

Is it possible you destroyed a few of AOL's server's in the process? It seems to be having a rough night. See what you can do to get it up and running again, eh? And eh, what are you doing up at this hour, besides being incredibly resourceful?

i'm on the east side of the potomac. AOL's servers are on the west side. it's possible gizmo did something before i removed zir batteries, i suppose. evil little mogwai, that gizmo.

as for my resourcefulness... i outresourcefulled myself by spraying down the bathtub mold colonies with bleach. now waiting for bathroom to air out so that i can shower before bed (must shower, otherwise wake up covered in more hives than now, if that's even possible... and it is).

and why am i not using the other shower? well, the drain has been clogged for weeks and maintenance has yet to fix it (OTC methods didn't work). there might be a wookie stuck down there for all i know. i'm not the drain-er-cleaner-out-er person in this household--i do all the other cleaning, but leave the dewookifying to boy.
