There's a chance that Bonnie (less likely) or Charlie will hit Melbourne, FL. There's a very good chance that rain/flooding/hail from both will hit me, but only after the storms have lost force over the mountains/coastal plain.

My brother volunteered this year to be on the hurricane evac team for his employer. This means that if a weather emergency occurs, he might get sent to Chantilly, VA, to operate the servers remotely. He does network security, is young, and has no family down there, so he jumps on any chance for time and a half, bonuses, paid expenses, etc.

Speaking as the resident Artie, I want you to visit him if he's evacuated, so I can see you too! :)

Just so you know, your survey lets the same person check more than one box. I was tempted to check all 10 boxes, but restrained myself to only two boxes per question...

If you do get up to Chantilly and would like to get together, give a holler. We're very close to there.

It turns out that Chuck is a pansy and didn't hit us hard at all. 50 MPH winds and a little bit of rain.

BTW, that graphic was made before the shift towards Melbourne/Orlando. They almost flew us to VA on the company jet at 3:45, a couple of hours before it hit Port Charlotte.
