explodingcat tells me that his childhood cat, Stacey, never had those crazy zippy cat freakouts. Fortunately, I do.

I'm finally dressed and clean. jb98 will be here soon, hopefully having proven to the bank that she's not a terrorist and that her non-profit is not a terrorist organization. We're going to go make donations to a local AIDS/HIV charity in "honor" of Ronald Reagan, this being the National Day of Mourning, and then run some errands... or she'll drop me back off here and we'll run errands separately--not sure which. ;)

I need to pick up some groceries, hit Big Lots for Tiki stuff, and buy a knife thingy. That's the best we can come up with. The thing you use to keep the edge. Damn, trying to get people with liquid jello for brains to remember words.

Yeah. neither tom, jb, nor I could remember the word for steel. So we were all calling it that knife thingy. I walked into Dragon and just asked, "hey, got any steels?" it jumped right into my head.
