I'm cleaning my closet... this means I'm hanging stuff up. I normally let my clothing blanket the floor in the guestroom. This not only makes getting dressed a challenge (hrm, is this a dress or a loose swath of velvet), it makes walking a challenge. This keeps boy out of the room, which is normally just referred to as my "closet".
Since we need to move our bed in there due to the mold invasion, I've been cleaning, tidying, fixing, etc. It's a slow job, but it has to be done. And most of it requires standing, which isn't exactly my cup of tea these days. I'll survive, I suppose.
I'm taking this opportunity to be firm with myself and tossing the stuff I don't wear (goodwill pile), the stuff that's unwearable and unmendable (trash), and the shoes that are dead (trash). This is HARD! I'm such a packrat. I threw away five or six pairs of shoes/boots, a pillow, some blouses, an interview dress (stained from antiperspirant/drycleaning), and random skirts and sweaters. I've made decent progress. I thought about giving away my nice black work blouses, but there's always the possibility that I'll work again, so I decided to keep them.
Well, I've lounged long enough, time to go perform more closet duty.
