learning on the fly, EN photos

so, last night, i borrowed nothingoth's camera. i've never handled a camera with manual focus... wide angle lens... etc. i think a few of them came out nicely. it was fun. i didn't really understand how it worked (the wide angle aspect) and i tried my best to focus it. that was fun.

I didn't know where the frame was... i like the way blixa is cut off, though. it's nifty. chad tells me that the camera is basically a wysiwig. that's cool.

hacke, chudy, bargeld. i didn't know that when one focuses on the nearest figure, the people behind will also be in focus. i'll try to remember that in case i ever handle a camera like chad's agan.

i like the lines of the lights and the blocks of the monitors. blixa bargeld is just a nice bonus.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on what f-stop you're using (because that affects the depth of field) and exactly how far apart those people are.

Blixa said, quite often, that they might not do another US tour.. it's too expensive. I think, also, that the threat of Mute dropping them might affect any future tour plans. This means we'll all have to hop across the pond to see them. *sigh*

i'm seriously thinking about asheville. i'm not sure i can handle another trip, though.
