My in-laws arrived today, safe and sound--if a bit travelworn from their daylong trip from NJ. Apparently, traffic on I95 was hell.

Anyhow, they rested for a bit, then they piled into our car and we headed for the mountains.

We walked through the pioneer farm at Humpback Rocks Visitor Center, then drove on down to Greenstone Overlook, where we walked the Greenstone Geology Trail.

For some reason, I momentarily misread that as "A Boy And His Dog," which led me onto an entirely different sort of mental primrose path. Well, more like jagged spikey edges than primroses, but you get the idea.

The "yes, it was windy" shot is fantastic. It's my favorite of the bunch, most definately.
