EN show!

Neubauten tix went on sale at 10am this morning. We're thinking of driving up Saturday to buy tickets. If you want to go (April 23), give me money. Tickets are $25. There's a $1 box office surcharge. This is much cheaper than paying the web or ticketbastard surcharge, even with gas. The gas money is just about equal to *one* ticket surcharge, if that tells you anything.

The ticket office will be open 6pm to 11pm Saturday night. We're open to plans earlier that day. First come, first serve. If Rick and Sarah (the folks at http://www.terrapin-gardens.com) want to take delivery of the CD racks sometime that day/night, we'd be thrilled. I'm still getting used to the drugs I'm on, so I need to be home and in bed not much later than midnight, so we won't stay in town much later than nine PM.

I was going to say I need to go to Katz, too, but I'm pretty sure they're not open on Saturday. I need to hit Trader Joe's, though. And a Whole Foods. I want quorn hot dogs, dammit. The local WF just won't order them. They SPITE me.

Jos, have I told you lately that I love you? Of course, I can't be there in person, but you can always look at the huggy-IKEA-heart and think of how much I loooooooove you :o) I would never have known about this show without you. Wee!

Anywho, I am interested in going to see Einsturzende, on the condition that I can kidnap Blixa Bargeld and use him as a love slave after the show. Jesse (boyfriend) would also like a ticket. How can I get money to you?

Are you going to the DC show? I'm right now trying to determine betweeen DC and Chicago, as both are about the same distance from here. But I hate driving, and the only person interested in coming with me isn't great in a car for long periods either.

I'm crossing my fingers that I get to do more than live through you vicariously for this show!!!! :-)

i imagine blixa23 (my cousin's hubby) will be going. i don't know if absinthea (my cousin) will or not. I'm sure other Chicago-area folks I know will be going.

Personally, I'd love to come to Chicago to see EN with you, but I'm pretty sure I'm too sick to manage that. ;)
