i have potatoes in the oven... they have an onion-cheese sauce on 'em... scalloped potates.. escalloped potatoes? potatoes au gratin?

i used smoked cheddar. they smell heavenly. i hope they're done soon. i didn't have time to boil the potatoes.

boy has his steak on the grill. that smells nice in that "wow, i'd have liked that 10 or so years ago."

i can't believe that i've been a vegetarian for nearly 10 years... wow.

i ran several errands today, then i went to pick up boy's beef so that we wouldn't have to do it when he got home. i picked him up from work, too. that was nice. :) i like riding in the car with him.

oh! i surprised him with the "i am sam" soundtrack... i played the nick cave song for him when he got in the car. he was gleeful.

i'm kinda tired, but glad that so much was accomplished today. walmart, taco bell, music, whole foods...
