well, i DID reorganize the cupboard which doubles as a pantry today.
but... everytime i start to do anything that requires lifting, bending, twisting, moving... the sharp pangs in my side remind me that i'm supposed to be taking it easy until i see the surgeon again (tuesday). furthermore, my mother-in-law informed me that it would take my tissues inside at least six weeks to heal and that i'm probably not doing myself any favors by twisting and contorting (as is my norm).
so... i've been cataloging the unlabeled vhs tapes. we've caught up on several weeks' worth of that 70s show and i've labeled the other tapes. i've also watched a few other shows.
i haven't been entirely lazy--went to the organic market and walmart.
now i'm watching dark angel... the mermaid episode. i thought i'd forgotten to tape it! woohoo!
i have stuff from november and earlier--weekends away from the apartment, a visit to indiana, the weeks i was too sick to watch/in the hospital/recovering... yeah, i should have better things than tv.
but tv watching doesn't involve moving too much.
until i contort into some half on/off the couch position and need to get upright again.
*sigh*
i gotta get this place cleaned by early march.

leave the used, wet grounds in bowls around the house. coffee grounds absorb odors almost as well as zeolite (which, unlike grounds, is rechargeable), and just as well as baking soda or activated charcoal.
and then, when the probation officer comes, maybe you can have some citrus rinds and cinnamon (go easy on that one) simmering on the stove... nothing TOO strong... don't wann make the officer sick if zie has odor issues.

they're huge tomes with pointy edges... and they don't give much, being full of rather thick pages... jabbing me in the ribs all night.
this is why i learned to sleep with Norton's Anthologies... much more comfortable.
