I need to take a shower.

boy is at the gym, when he returns, he'll have pizza for me. i haven't eaten in, oh, 28 hours and pizza is all i seem to want.

it's also very low-effort--for me, anyhow.

I think I have become fully fearful of the Neti now. There may be no hope for me. :P

What is there to fear from the Neti? Are you confusing it with a Yeti?

Oooh, that must be it. No wonder I ended up with a headache. Silly me, shoving a Yeti up my nostril.

No, seriously, I've only used it twice, and the first time left me with a mild headache in/around/behind my right eye socket that lasted only a few hours. The second use, though, gave me a pretty severe 24-hour-plus headache. Now I'm terrified of Neti. What if each use is going to give me a worse and worser headache?

I've experienced a mild headache before. Usually in my forehead. Probably related to the position of your head. It sounds like the water is entering a sinus cavities and getting stuck there. Be aware of the angle of your head. You don't want to angle your head down. Be aware of your nose and forehead. If you try again, as you bend your head down, make sure that your forehead is NOT lower than your nose. That position allows you to pour water right into your forehead sinus cavity...a sure headache.

It's a weird unnatural thing to do. It took me a few attempts to figure out the best head position. Good luck.
