i'm so nauseous.

i think it might be the darvocet. the only way to figure that out is to stop taking it... i haven't had any for several hours. the pain is rather nasty and is probably making the nausea worse...

of course, the other drugs i'm on post-surgery could be to blame. i can't stop taking those, but i can mess around with the painkiller. if it's making me nauseous, i can call and request something else (not that i'll get anything else).

if it's NOT the painkiller, i need to call and let the doctor know, anyway, since nausea could indicate a recurrence of the pericarditis.

*sigh*

life was so much simpler when i didn't go to the doctor.

I hate the way hospitals deal with pain management. They're usually willing to give you only one or two kinds of painkillers, and if those don't work or give you bad side effects, too bad. Pretend you're living in an era before modern medicine, until you get the bill. Grr.
