Hatt Baby, Hatt Hatt Baby!

The Wombat dinner was quite nice. Everything was all happy and silly and interesting and yummy.

Getting confused yet? Even more helpful is that I sometimes include people who are only half in frame, but I often do not.

Tom and I stole the alcove seat for dinner and proceeded to bop each other with Magi's boppy ball. Everyone else sat at the table (evidenced above) like the adults they are while being accosted by cats.

Anyhow, things were going swimmingly when the shapka appeared out of nowhere and proceeded to dance some sort of twisted Shapka Nagila on our heads. First, it landed on Magi's head. Swiftly, it bounced over to Kathy and then briefly nibbled Tina's brain before coming to a rest on Ray, who attempted to subdue it. Barely hindered, the hat flew over jb and accosted Kate. Her vegan might was able to resist complete takeover and the hat moved on to violate international trade agreements and dance with the Canadians. It appears confused by Jennie--not sure whether or not she's actually Canadian--so it clamps its maw around Christie's skull.

At some point, it lands on Shannon and finds that it is oddly taken by her slinky necklace. It decides to attempt to nibble at jb's brain while it poses with her pink sweater. It then realizes that there is someone who wants to be a drunken Cossack nearby, as well as a witchy ewok.

Finally, the shapka fled to the windowseat, leaving only nibbled brains and digital evidence behind.

Needless to say, I had a good time. Wombats are always good company. I had lots of fun. It was good to see Kate, Christie, and Tina again. It was wonderful to meet Jennie and Ray and Kathy. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves--Magi's hospitality was wonderful, as always. It's a shame we didn't lock Lisa in the laundry room so that she could meet everyone, but I'm sure she'll visit us all again.

I don't care if my tenses are all over the place today. It's not a good brain day. I think I'll go for a walk.

And, oh... by the way.

The sky was on fire last night.

May I just say that your commentary was absolutely hysterical? :)
