i really want to go to the mountains today. hiking alone isn't a good idea (especially during any hunting seasons), so i'm scouting for companions.

i'd like to leave *town* no later than 1:30. i'll be showering soon and ready to leave the *house* by 1pm, if not sooner.

any takers?

I'm not up for any strenuous hiking. heck, i'd be happy to take some food and a book and a blanket and just fine a nice place to read. i'd be happy to do some flat walking, i'd be happy to do some more moderate waterfall hikes, i'd be happy to just drive around to different overlooks.

EDIT:

Just remembered... boy made an appt for us at the gym today... his membership is being upgraded to add me. *sigh* no mountains.

i think i'll go bum around downtown. anyone up for visiting carter's mountain orchard later today? they close at 6, so i don't want to leave much later than 5 or 5:15pm.

Absolutely. :) explodingcat and I typically go together on Saturdays or Sundays. We welcome additional hikers. I ramble about with willing friends during the week, schedules permitting. If you ever want to head out to the hills (wait, you live in them...), just drop me an email or LJ comment.

Hee! Yay! My schedule is ... f*cked for now, and not in a good way. But soon I hope. Yay! Actually during the week is typically better for me, *because* my schedule is so weird.
