so... i went to start the chili. we're out of ONIONS. i had to used dried, minced onion. not the same... and then, i wasn't paying attention, and dumped in a large can of tomato puree (i was spacing and thought it was crushed tomatoes).

this chili is gonna be odd. i suppose i'll have to serve it over rice. maybe i should dump it in a bigger pot and chop up all the tomatoes in the house and add them. or something. turn it into vegetable soup instead of chili... add green beans and potatoes.. it'll be huge if i do all that, though.

Instead of calling it Chili, call it a slight variation like...
Chile
Warm
Uruguay

or something like that.

I usually start my chili with tomato paste, just add some diced tomatoes and it should be fine.
