so, i made pita bread last week. i have a bread machine, so it was easy... granted, i had to roll and shape the dough, but it wasn't a big deal. this stuff is good. i just finished the last of it, so i need to make more. yes, i'm being bad and not rotating wheat. yes, i'm paying for it. maybe tomorrow will be a wheat-free day. it's not like i have to go out of my way to be wheat-free... i keep rice, potato, etc, noodles on hand. i can make wheat-free flatbreads...

i made the cheese crackers with oat flour last time. those were a success. maybe i'll try doing something with the teff i have. injera's a pain in the ass to make, but maybe it's time.

i bet rice roti would be good with hummus.

yes, i made more hummus. i added freshly roasted red peppers to this batch. YUM.

and on a final note, [livejournal.com profile] red_frog deserves to be acknowleged as the Granita Goddess.

Does wheat give you an allergy? I've cut it out for last month to see if it's affected my eczema or not. It's getting better but it could be for differant reason

i have a low level wheat allergy. if i rotate it, i don't react. when i don't rotate it, it affects my skin and digestive system. the RAST level was 2 several years ago...
