So, Harris Teeter has scuppernongs. Having never tried a *fresh* one, I decided they were important hurricane food.

These things are awesome. They taste like fake grape flavor (think Grape NeHi) or super concentrated Concord grapes. Very yummy.

Kroger currently has Concords for a decent price. I'm enjoying a bowl of scuppernongs and Concords as I write this.

They look yummy! Yummy enough to get me to get out of the house, fire up the big red beastie, head to Reston to HT and see if my store has em.

Now I pray that ice cream won't be on sale, as I have no willpower and zero freezer space (we didn't lose power long enough for anything to defrost).

Hee. We had those (scuppernongs) growing at our old house. Pity I couldn't cultivate them...
