explodingcat is all wonky today... his blood sugar's doing weird things and he slept poorly. he won't be coming to the dawning. i'll likely go if i feel up to driving this evening. i think i volunteered to take solieri, so perhaps i need to drive.

time for my shower and then we'll go for a drive. boy wants to check out the park at the base of the hill SE of town (base of carter's mountain). there are nature trails there and other nifty things. we also need to return the vids.

shall i wear big hair tonight?

Would your boy like to come to dinner while you're out? A friend of mine is over for showers and electricity. I'm going to see if I can persuade him into a movie or a silly game. I'm making (have made) braised chicken with olives and capers, to be served over rice and probably with spinach. Good for low-protein boys in need of fat and carbs.

i'm not sure. i'll ask him. what time are you thinking? i won't leave for the club until after 10pm. he'll probably want to be in bed by midnight.

he doesn't touch olives, either, though he might be convinced to pick them out with a fork. ;)
