one guy wanted to buy the garfield comic collection for two bucks (plus the other three kids books). i have the books marked down to .20, which is less than i'd get at a used bookstore... altogether, they'd be 5.20 (for garfield, +.60 for the other three), plus there are two larger books (how to draw and another comic book) for 50 cents each, though i'd let them go for a little less. i'm sorry, two bucks for all of them is *too* good of a deal. he wanted them for a grown daughter... had he wanted them for a little kid, i might have considered 3.50 or four, but he thought that was too much.

people who show up at 6:30 for a sale that starts at 7 should be shot at dawn, especially since dawn is earlier this time of year.

yay!

Did someone claim the NIN downward spiral, and TMBG stuff? IF not, we'd be all over them too. If someone else wants them do you think someone would consider simply ripping them for us?- we don't have many real physical cds anyway, so it'll be no difference to us.

someone just claimed the nin, but i could rip/burn it. ditto for the TMBG. :)

do you prefer MP3 format (data storage) or CD (listening to on stereo)?

Yep, that's good too.

We'd prefer to have the actual CD, if possible, that way we can rip them to ogg, but whatever is easiest or works the best overall is fine too.

I realize this is a very old post, you might want to go back to it to refresh your memory. Do you still want these CDs? Do you want copies of the TMBG CDs? I think I might be able to get my arse down to the PO this week. I can import/rip CDs as .wav, .mp3, .aac, apple loss-less, .aiff and then, obviously, burn to something like .aiff.

yep, I still remember. Still wouldn't mind them, anything you rip for us .mp3 would work best. thanks a lot.
