Jun. 27th, 2003 02:38 amI'm really frustrated. My browser (IE 5, mac OS9) recently stopped displaying Cyrillic properly. I've tried fixing the problem in the preferences. No good. I can't TYPE in LJ in Cyrillic, either. Since I do have friends who write in Russian and I like to occasionally reply in kind, this is a rather annoying problem.
The really weird thing is, if I try to force a character set in IE, LJ's pages ALWAYS revert to UTF-8.
I think I'll see if Opera can handle it.
Also, I've noticed lately that the non-loading web page error is back. Grrr

and krasota's running OS 9...

And what exactly is a non-loading page error?

Initially they tried to tell me that my Open Transport was out of date, but I have the most recent update for OS9. I realize OS9 is obsolete, but isn't everything?
