the doc gave me prednisone. he thinks i'm having a massive allergic reaction to all the evil pollen and mold. if my ears aren't unblocked by monday, he'll call in antibiotics. this is fine, i'd rather not be on antibiotics and prednisone will make me feel *really* good for the next week. ;)

we wandered around downtown while waiting for the prescription. it's hot out. came home to rest a bit.

in awhile, we'll start making the potato-kale soup. or make pancakes. both will happen today. maybe pancakes first.

I'm glad it'll help you feel better, but predisone . . . *shudder*.

i've been on it in the past. i will be hyper manic and hungry. i won't gain much weight, though, because i will likely clean, walk, and garden non-stop once i start on it... if i react anything like i did the *last* time i was on it after the reaction to vaccinations and late spring pollens i had prior to going to russia in 96.

Hope it works

Hope the pred works out for ya!! If it doesn't work however, and u have any spare, send it over. ;-) My hayfever is acting up lately too, and, I quote, the pollen is having sex in my nostrils ;-)
