Jun. 6th, 2003 02:00 amI crept around the house earlier today and caught
explodingcat doing what appears to be anything but work. Then I moved closer and the truth was revealed.
Around 5pm,
mbickers called and asked if I'd like to go out to the farm. Hell yeah, I said! I even volunteered to drive, since I have AC and reasonable gas mileage. Off we went.
We tormented the cat a bit, chatted a bit, had some food... And I got acquainted with Clara's little devil puppy, Fooka I'm not sure how to spell that. I like this one, it appears that the pup is chasing things that weren't there...
Clara, Three, Fooka and I set off for the creek. There were trees and cowpies. And plenty of weeds in which to hide the bodies. After hiking through brambles, pasture, and poison ivy, we headed home to get cleaned up. The pup was covered in mud, so she got a shower, too.
When she was fluffy again, she came out to chew on Clara and ravage me. Fortunately, Clara learned the Tasmanian Ear Hold and subdued the pup for approximately one millisecond.
M and I eventually left. We came home, unloaded her stuff, and I came to my house, where I stripped, showered, took my asthma medicine, and seduced boy. It was a good day, even if there weren't any leeches.

Date: 2003-06-06 10:21 am (UTC)This escalated into a riff about how that was not, in fact, cat hair, it was hair from an American Micro Yak (which does, admittedly, look very much like a cat but the difference is obvious to the connoisseur) and as such actually made the rug more valuable. Showing the rug's origins on the steppes, and all.
Perhaps you had to have been there, but we spent the rest of the evening giggling at the
catsAmerican Micro Yaks. D was threatening to set up www.americanmicroyaklovers.com
