Jun. 5th, 2003 02:47 pmI just did some dishes. There are still more to do, but I'll do them after boy gets around to putting away the ones in the rack.
boy is sitting outside playing with his twanger and reading a .Net book.
It's pretty out today. I might do some gardening. My tomatoes have blossoms!
The landlord called. We set up a day for him to come turn off the gas (next Sunday). Then, a week from this coming Monday, a new stove will be delivered! YAY! It will be nice to have a new stove. Our current (fifty-year old) range is nice and big and chrome, but the oven is very tiny and temperamental. My pizza pans/stone won't fit in it and it takes at least half an hour to heat up to 350F. Furthermore, it doesn't have built in exhaust fans. We have to turn on an exhaust fan separately (vents from the kitchen to outside) in order to prevent the whole house from heating up and the smoke detector from going off.
Our venus flytrap is eating LOTS. These little tiny gnats love it and they get eaten at the rate of 3-5 or more a week. Go get 'em, Killer Calliope!
Oops. AC kicked in, better go shut it off, since the doors are open.
Then I'll put in my eyes and go outside. Mmmm, garden.

Date: 2003-06-06 02:33 am (UTC)I won't have any more tiny little flies around with Tory gone, I guess. The spiders will all starve.
