LJ directory search
This is interesting. It's a little quirky, I did a search on latest updates in my city and got 0 matches, while I can go look at my city via the link on my profile and get many results.
And I just did a search on all users who list "goth" as an interest and who have updated in the last seven days and got no hits.
Okay, maybe it's not so cool.
Anyhow, I tried to do a search to look for a community in the LJ header search window and there were over a 1000 hits, but the communities weren't separated from the users. AUGH! That would be such a nice search features--just communities or just users. Yes, I know there's an LJ community dedicated to community search, but sometimes I want to do my own sleuthing.

Date: 2003-06-02 08:39 pm (UTC)THe link I gave for a more refined search doesn't work. If I do an interest search using the drop down menu and the window on the LJ title bar, it works unless over 1000 results are obtained, in which case it mixes them up and returns them by time, not alphabetically. VERY ANNOYING. ahem.
