So...

the sun is shining. i could stay home, curled up on the couch. I think, though, that I'll drag boy out on a drive. We can go over to the BR Parkway and stop at some overlooks.

Yes, we need to mow. Yes, I should rest. But it's *nice* out and I want to see the mountains and valleys.

And tonight, we will have dinner and games at red_frog's hilltop fortress. I'll remember to take the laser pointer.

Speaking of which, tell me if anything here presents a problem. Assume that olive oil is the oil of choice.

red/yellow bell peppers and red onion braised in white wine (or orange juice)

spinach fritters: sauteed spinach, onion, egg, baking powder, flour

tomato/olive frittata

And baked chicken for the omnivores.
