Okay...

ismene is planning to grace Charlottesville with her presence soon.

She's interested in going to the Blackbeard Pirate Fest in Morehead City, NC. I'm interested, too, and will be making our reservations. (Uh, I better do that ASAP)

Here's the Schedule (nevermind title tag, the schedule is 2003).

Does anyone want to come with us? We have room for two more people in our car, but are amenable to carpooling. If boy comes, I'll have room for *one*.

If it's just Alex and me, we'll share a room (shut up, rat_bastard). If more people come, we need to see how we want to split things up. We're thinking of driving down Thursday evening. That way we'll have all of Friday and part of Saturday before driving back and attending the dawning. Honestly, since it *is* a DJ night, we might not make it out... it depends on how tired we are. I suspect, though, that Alex's fabulous hair will demand a night to shine and kill.

Why thursday? Well, we want to see the women in piracy thing. ;)

I can stuff 5 people in my car, but I'm not sure how comfortable the people in the back would be. The drive's about 5 1/2 hours.

My hair my not be all that fabulous, since I'll have had the dreads in for over two months by then. I'm rebraiding bits & pieces as necessary, but still. I'm gonna leave them in till after I get back from VA, though. I would kill you with hairspray otherwise.

You will be staying with mom. I'm not gonna listen to you yowl for 12 hours on a long car trip. It's a nice familiar place and you'll have her cats to terrorize.

Thursday meaning tomorrow, I am taking a test... next Thursday, the same -- in the morning, it is my last one... eh... my brains ache...

You can have whatever stripey material I have left, if you want to make some black/orange stuffs -- Mr. Hanks' has black and white thinner stripey material, I know (I need to make dress) and white and pink stripeys (I need to be cute lil pirate girl) and some others, I believe. Myuuuuuuuuu. Braaaaaaaaaaaaains.

Sounds cool though. I love Morehead City NC. It's where the Sanitary Seafood restaurant is. You gotta love that name! I have a tee shirt from there.

I'm off from work that Friday and Saturday, but not on Thursday... so, I *can* go, but not until Friday (which, I suppose, means that I can't).
