Thanks for posting this; it is so important that people realize just how lonely it can be to grow up gay, when it *seems* like no one around you could even begin to sympathize with what you're going through. This is one reason why I feel it's so important for people who are LGBT to be "out." Think of all of the teenagers you know you respect you...if just one of them happens to be queer (and at least one of them probably is), you are a positive example for them to look to when they the only other message they may be hearing is that they're wrong or evil. Sometimes, it really can be a matter of life or death.
