Mar. 16th, 2003 02:39 pmYes, I wore a toga.. I'm a citizen, dammit. ;)
Chad has a lovely entourage.
My goofy husband dancing.
climbing into the car.
yes, I have more pictures. I have some amazing pics of Tank's debauchery, Jimbo's pimpiness, and Stu's stately conversation with Adrian. I have pictures of M whirling like a stripey dervish and a young man adjusting very a short hemline. I'm tired, though, and will have to edit them some other time (my eternal promise). Since we'll have cable very shortly, this is a *real* promise. I don't mind editing the pics to uploadable size, but uploading is a bitch even out here. This is why I was very narcissistic and only uploaded (for the most part) pictures of ME today. ;)
A couple people made the observation that I went from hair-up and fancy lady to earth goddess in a short time. My hair often ends up down by the end of the club night and I tossed my toga into the trunk, leaving just my tunica (and sometimes my girdle scarf) on.
explodingcat is eating the rest of the satsivi Magi sent home with him.
My nose is running. I hate allergies. And Claritin doesn't do much at all for me, other than keep me from breaking out in hives constantly. I'm taking it as an experiment. I want to see if some of my overwhelming fatigue is being exacerbated by the chlorpheneramine. I think it was. I'm not as tired now, but I'm horribly dizzy because my allergies are wreaking havoc with my head. Without any antihistamine, I break out in hives nearly daily. I'm pretty sure this is actually still related to the heat in this house (the ducts are chock full of cat and dog goo). We'll see how it is when I move, though the previous tenants in the new house DID have a dog and cat (which is one reason they're no longer there).
*sigh* I miss seldane. It worked for me. Allegra does not. Clarinex does not. Zyrtec does not. I'll have to wait and try the metabolite of Hisminal when it's released. It might work, might not. Chlor works for me, but if it's making me more tired, I really can't risk it. I've been taking it at night, though, to help alleviate some of the nighttime allergy issues.

Date: 2003-03-16 05:36 pm (UTC)Of course, I have to wonder whether the description of adultresses and whores as togate really meant they wore togas. Perhaps it was a way of saying they were expressing too much independence for their societally determined gender roles... or a way of saying they were being unwomanly.
