boy has done lots of dishes... i've put together a split pea and lentil soup, which is simmering, and spelt-bulgur bread, which is in the machine.

i just cleaned the bathroom sink. the tub and commode I cleaned yesterday. i just need to put away random clothes items and clean the floor and that room is done. i still have medical forms scattered across the guest room, but

rat_bastard will just have to step over them. i need to put clean sheets on the bed, in case he's staying the night.

still need to shower, as does boy. i'm cleaning the kitchen table off and then starting on the spice cabinet. apparently, our mice can jump a lot higher than we realized and they managed to get inside. fortunately, everything is tightly sealed.... but still. *sigh*

we're listening to a FNM bootleg... i think it's a live concert. yumminess.

maybe i should remove this old nail polish before cleaning more, that way the stuff's godawful scent will be washed away.
