Dec. 12th, 2002 07:13 pmmmmm, sfincione for dinner... yum.
gonna go into town. we've done that a *lot* this week. i want to get greens, cream, and a few other things. that way we don't have to do any shopping tomorrow night.
i should probably see if i can still get tickets for McKeown and Cunningham saturday night. i should probably start emailing or calling friends to see if anyone wants to join me, too. poor
xiane is sick and is usually busy all day on saturday b/c of the dawning. i'm using boy's computer right now, though, and i don't have anyone's email here. i'll have to turn on the laptop later tonight.
i really hate the way i get cystic acne with my period. i have one chin spot and one forehead-eyebrow spot and several scattered about my torso. *sigh* nothing i can do about them, either. i can put some steroidal creams on them to make them heal once they get really pissed off--that's about it.
i trimmed the dead leaves from my sanseveria last night. it managed to stay outside for one cold night and that was enough to blister and burn a lot of the older growth. the interior stuff appears to be okay, so it should recover.
we cleaned boy's office really well a couple days ago. we boxed up most of the books, cleaned the bookshelves, moved a couple of the shelves to other rooms, rearranged a bit, disinfected the floor, etc. fortunately, no books were eaten or shredded by the mice. unfortunately, my einstein poster WAS. and then yesterday, a mouse was in the trap (this mouse was FAST, i hadn't been able to catch it the night before, though i tried), so he released it when he got dressed. then he vaccuumed and disinfected the closet where it was living and put back his keyboard cases and the random computer parts and dress clothes which live in there. i've been putting up yaksmas lights in here, so it's really nifty. one blue strand, one long multi-color, and one long clear/white. it's pretty. he loves the soft glow of yaksmas lights, so it's all happy.
oh, we've finalized plans and dates and whatnot for travel to indiana.
we're driving from VA to goshen, IN, on the 21st. we'll come home (to mooreland) on the 22nd or 23rd. i could probably have lunch/dinner/coffee with folks on the 23rd (later in the day if we're travelling that morning) and/or on the 24th. we leave for NJ on the 26th.
dani, if you're reading this... we probably won't be driving through your area at all. however... if you'll be in indy or if your dad doesn't mind taking in a package, i could drop them off there. i'm going to check tonight and see if the soda is still being sold here. if so, i'll pick some up.
time to head into town.
xiane, call me if you need anything. 409-1803

Date: 2002-12-12 11:40 pm (UTC)-come-to-a-head when you say cystic acne, then
i get the same thing.
have you tried straight witch hazel on them several
times a day? (my ma says not to use it too much on
the rest of your face cause it can make your pores
really big.) its not like a miracle cure or anything but
it does help a lot.

Date: 2002-12-13 02:23 am (UTC)McKeown, Susan? oh oh oh oh OH DRAT by the tour dates you wouldn't happen to be one of those Seattle people. Ah well, this way I don't have to slime my way out of a prior social engagement.
