NJ kitty evil

this may appear cute, but she's really the face of pure evil.
16 years old. and still evil. she's far more insidious and subtle than
ismene's Rumor. she doesn't bite or scratch, she just goes for your feet. and then, before you know it, you can't breathe or see.
evil, i tell you.
and so it goes...
AAA had to visit and jumpstart my car for me. my FiL's mere wee sports car couldn't handle the sheer manliness of the buick. the towtruck guy was nice, turns out he lives two doors down from the in-laws and he didn't even bother filing the paperwork.
twilight_spirit came here, we did some of his shopping and a lot of mine (food and such). thanks, tim!
i started mixing a pumpkin pie after calling AAA and had it in the oven by the time the doorbell rang (the driver wasn't actually *home*, he was out on the road). right now, i have root veggies roasting. spinach dip is in the fridge. this way, i'll be mostly out of my FiL's way tomorrow. i'll still have to make stuffing (i don't want to be in the way, so i'm using ready-to-mix stuff) and mushroom gravy for me, but those only require a pan or two. i could probably make the gravy tonight, but then i'd have to find room for it in the fridge.
city water breaks me out horribly. i always forget this. had to buy some stinky cetaphil soap at the store (it actually helps my skin, the cleanser does not). i also seem to be developing a cold sore. *sigh* i always drink a lot of coke (caffeine = breathing) around the cat *and* eat a lot of citrusy things with vitamin C... these always bring on a nasty little herpes outbreak. and i've been taking 1000mg of l-lysine... time to increase it to 1500 or 2000mg/day.
hrm... apple cider should be okay to drink...
yay!
