oh, it was good to sleep last night. i kept my eyes open until 2am. as soon as iron chef was over, i headed to bed.

sleep good. nooky good, too. sleep niiiiiiice.

i woke up a couple times when the ladies upstairs decided to see how many tunes they could pick out on the creaking floorboards, but that passed eventually. i think i should be used to them by now. i'm still not used to their shower, because the screaming pipes pass through a wall of our bedroom. i'm not sure i like being in the back room, but i don't feel like switching the beds again.

today i'm going to fetch some groceries, hit the wal-mart for boy's shampoo (seems nobody else carries it). first, boy is going to feed me and then we'll shower, dress, and run for the hills.

yippee!

no kidding...

yes. *sigh* he uses selsun blue's balanced formula. it has the teal cap. most stores carry the red (medicated) or green (moisturizing) capped-bottles. he's very insistent. he won't try a less-noxious tea tree oil blend. i humor him. i found a conditioner that's less evil (no aloe) and a gel which is less noxious and evil (no perfume or aloe). he's happy.

i used to use whatever was on sale. now i have *one* shampoo i can use. Heritage Products Olive Oil Shampoo (unscented). it's an Edgar Cayce product, which amuses me. my conditioner (which i need to order) is Granny's Old Fashioned Soft & Silky. if it's all gone, i use apple cider vinegar in water. and if my hair gets too dry, it gets a nice hot coconut oil soak.

shampoo snobs, oh yes. ;)
