How long will you be in DC? Just the one day?

we're not sure. we'll come home on New Year's Day for sure.

but, we'll probably be in indiana for christmas, go to NJ the day after, then stay there til NYE, when we'll travel to DC to hang out with friends.

Well, :PPPPP to you then. *grin* I'm thinking I'll fly up a few days before New Years, and then maybe stay a few days afterwards.... It depends on how long y'all will put up with me!
