last night while watching lexx, i was subjected unwittingly to the series finale. it was poignant. i cried.

i cry a lot while watching television or seeing films.

i cry little when actually living.

i think i need those times of weepy couch kleenex-fests.

But I don't want anyone to see me crying at TV. I made an exception on 9-11. Usually I go to movies I know will make me cry alone.

Sounds familiar. I don't cry at reality (the closest I come is crying out of extreme frustration; grief makes me stony-eyed). I didn't even cry for the 9-11 coverage. I cry at the drop of a hat for the sappy and non-existent. A long distance commercial--"look, he's calling his mother and she's happy!" will have me brushing tears away.

Thankfully, S does the same thing or I'd never hear the end of it. :)
