Busy busy DC
Apr. 5th, 2008 12:53 amSo . . . after the dentist, we wandered over to AU, where we surprised our old coworkers and hung out with Fil. We then went to Tenley, where we surprised our old friends (who now also work for AU).
I hadn't eaten all day, so I grabbed a few things to eat at Whole Foods there, then we took Izzy home. Her apartment is cute and perfectly located near the Cathedral--easy walking distance to lots of good stuff. We walked to dinner, where Fil rejoined us. Got ice cream and coffee, walked back, said goodbye to Izzy, took Fil home. Then we drove home. Ronan fell asleep before we got out of town, so Tom pulled over on Foxhall and I jumped in the driver's seat.
Eye fatigue got me around Culpeper. I let Tom take over. We got in just after midnight.
Very long day, but it was good to see old friends.
