If I was ever convinced that my husband was trying to kill me, it's now. He and my doctor are conspiring to turn me into the perfect soil amendment for red Virginia clay. Sure, most folks use bone or blood meal or white clover. They all fix nitrogen in the soil incredibly well and red clay is generally nitrogen-poor. Those aren't good enough for
